It’s one thing to when the judges from The Voice compliment you on the cover of song, it is totally another when the artist who wrote it and sang it sings your praises on social media.  That is exactly what happened for The Voice’s Jackie Verna the other night when Raelynn (once a contestant on The Voice as well) complemented Verna on her cover of Rae’s “Love Triangle”.  Rae wrote, “WOW. Jackie Verna you SLAYED #LoveTriangle!! This is SO GOOD.”

But it was later backstage that Jackie was over heard talking about the post by saying, ‘Whatever, you wrote it…I owned it.” Ok, I made that part up…totally made that up. Jackie would have never pulled a Dolly Parton / Whitney Houston moment on Raelynn like that.  But think of how crazy it would have been if she had.
