Elle King has revealed that she and Dan Tooker are giving their relationship another shot following a previous split. “We’re back together,” said the 35-year-old Grammy-nominated singer. King is set to release her brand new single, “High Road,” this Friday (September 20), and she is taking the song title’s advice by reconciling with her partner and father of their three-year-old son, Lucky. “We had to grow,” says King of the new start with Tooker. “I don’t know. I’ll try anything twice.” And the couple is making it work for Lucky. “He’s definitely brought me and his dad back together,” King says. “We have everything that both of us have ever wanted right here. Let’s put our weapons down. This is it. This is life. It doesn’t get better than this. This is worth wiping a slate clean. This is worth all the effort in the world.
